About Us

The Space Inside is an arts session held on the first Tuesday of each month from October to June, in Wicklow Sailing Club, South Quay, Wicklow Town, Ireland
.
The sessions provide a platform on which all artists can perform - from poets to actors and from dancers to all forms of musicians.

Admission is free to ensure access to all and doors open 8pm

Novelist








Philip St.John is a prolific writer. His short stories
have been published in New Irish Writing and broadcast
on radio. He has just completed an M. Phil in Creative
Writing at Trinity College Dublin. Philip will read from
his latest novel, Crazy Baldheads, set in Jamaica in 1982.
He will also be happy to answer any questions you might
have on writing a novel.

Jo Callanan, born in South Africa and now living
in Greystones, qualified as a Graphic Designer with
photography as a major interest.
In June this year, she hosted an open Studio Exhibition
day at Stylebawn farm studios, with a number of artists
who share and enjoy the open space of the Wicklow
foothills. Her presentation is not to be missed.

Tim Scanlon from Wicklow Town, Cormac O’Daly from

In 2006, they embarked on two hugely successful U.S and
European tours, alongside Irish Dancing Troop, Rhythm of
the Dance. Cormac studies with Irish tenor, Emmanuel
Lawler, at the Conservatory of Music Dublin, where Billy
began his singing career under Vocal coach Robert Alderson.
Tim attended the prestigious Music department of Estonia's
Tallinn University, studying vocal training and choral
conducting with Merica Aarme and Pille Saar.

Singer/songwriter









Kris Finnerty is a singer/songwriter who lives
in Bray, Co. Wicklow. His latest album, Christy is Dead,
is 10 years of work comprised into one CD. The artwork in
the booklet to the songs themselves are a true showing of
Kris's artistic nature and talent.
His influences include Counting Crows, Band of Horses,
Ben Harper and Bob Dylan. He can be regularly seen at
The Porterhouse on Bray Seafront, Marriot Hotel and
The DungeonFitzpatrick Hotel, Killiney.
